PANTANI DREAM

Pantani Dream is a classicist piece on its own. The restraint and strictly closed framing in time and space, a levitating classic frame in red (it is not known that Marco Pantani would race in the professional peloton at the peak of his career on a red bicycle) with glossy silver axis is a refined transformation of spontaneity, suggested in the second plane only by glittery details.

The friendly Marco Pantani was nicknamed ‘the Pirate,’ because at the times when a professional peloton didn’t require mandatory helmets, he covered his bald head with colorful bandanas and wore earrings. In the mountains, he tirelessly plunged ahead, winning both Tour de France and Giro d’Italia, while dreaming of beautiful women. His fans loved him. He faced doping accusations, subsequently suffered depressions and died young.
