Ettore Bugatti, a gifted designer, motoring enthusiast, but also an artist, sculptor, breeder of Siamese cats, pure-bred fox terriers and racehorses. The "Patron", as everyone called him, or the "Magician of Molsheim". The cars bearing his name, and especially the racing specials, still amaze with their classic technical beauty and perfection of form. Ettore Bugatti grew up in his native Milan. His father, a painter, sculptor and architect, entertained cultural figures of the time, be they Puccini or Leon Cavallo, in his home. Not surprisingly, the young Ettore also wanted to become an artist, while his brother Rembrandt wanted to become a mechanic. In 1908, in the basement of his family home, he designed the first "pure-bred" car bearing the Bugatti brand and a year and a half later he set up a production plant in Molsheim.

Then came one sporting success after another, and the cars with the characteristic horseshoe-shaped front mask became famous. His cars, with their typical blue colour, continued to win on the race tracks of the world for a long time. The Bugatti 35, the most successful racing model, became the absolute star, winning over a thousand races in various modifications. Čeněk and Eliška Junka were also behind its wheel. The latest era of Bugatti was launched when the Volkswagen Group bought the brand in 1998, creating a new company, Bugatti International. Thus, under Volkswagen's leadership, the prestigious and ultimate cars Chiron, Veyron and the new Chiron, also in an exclusive edition under the name Divo, are created. The uniqueness of these cars lies not only in their beautiful design with a lot of handcrafting, but also in the breathtaking performance of the most powerful production car from 1001 horsepower up to 1500 horsepower.
