From his youth, Ferruccio Lamborghini loved speed and technical excellence, qualities which Lamborghini cars have also boasted. In 1963, he founded the car company bearing his name with the aim of producing the best Gran Turismo under the sun. This led to the groundbreaking 350GT, 400GT and Miura. In 1971, he shocked the world with the revolutionary model of the Lamborghini Countach.
